Jeremy and Ann’s Gorilla Trek Experience in Rwanda

Jeremy and Ann was a couple on their honey moon trip in East Africa. They travel with African Jungle Adventures on a 7 day Rwanda safari. Before coming to Rwanda, they had experienced Kenya and Tanzania on a 2 weeks safari, and after their trip in Rwanda, they connected to Zanzibar Island for 4 nights. Jeremy and Ann started with Volcanoes National Park where they tracked mountain gorillas, they tracked Karisimbi gorilla group. While at Volcanoes National Park, they stayed at the 5 star Sabyinyo Silverback lodge managed by the Governor’s Camp.

From Volcanoes National Park, they transferred to Gisenyi on the shored of Lake Kivu, here they stayed at the 5 star Serena hotel with a very beautiful view of Lake kivu. They enjoyed staying here and had a boat ride to the coffee island and hot springs.

From here they continued to Nyungwe national park, a home to about 13 primate species. The major activity here was chimpanzee tracking and community tour. They visited nearby communities and participated in tea harvesting around Nyungwe Forest lodge. Ann and Jeremy travel between 19th and 25th September 2014 and below was their feedback;

Hi Mathias,

Thank you for organizing such a wonderful trip for I and my husband. Both of us enjoyed the beauty of your country and we shall strongly you and your country to our friends in USA. It is a must visit destination in Africa. Gorillas were the highlight for our trip and we are planning to come back in 2 years to try out gorillas in Uganda side. All lodges were perfect! Please forward my appreciation to Baker for the excellent services he delivered through out the trip. We are now in Zanzibar, we are flying out tomorrow back to home.

Cheers,

Ann and Jeremy
